Everything in the Edith & Blanche Originals collection starts with one question: what do children actually need from their clothes? The answer we keep coming back to is simple — freedom to move, room to play, and fabrics that feel good against small skin. That's why every piece is made from GOTS-certified organic cotton: grown without harmful pesticides, kind to sensitive skin, and built to last through the washing machine marathon that comes with being a parent.
What makes Originals genuinely different is where it's made. Each garment is handmade in our children's boutique in Southsea, Portsmouth — not in a factory on the other side of the world. We produce in small batches and on demand, which means less waste, more care, and clothing that's never been part of a conveyor belt. From organic cotton dungarees and cosy loungewear to knitted dresses, jumpers, and gilets, our range covers newborns all the way through to age 6 — at prices that reflect honest, ethical production without the inflated price tag.
